Bring a picnic dinner, a blanket, (perhaps a jacket or shawl), or sit on the benches and enjoy the famous tale of the English king with designs on France. The play is set in England and France around the time of the Battle of Agincourt in 1415; but, as with most of Shakespeare's writings, the events of the play are timeless and the characters mirror the universal characteristics of contemporary leaders.
The Pasadena Shakespeare Festival is traditionally held after Labor Day so that public and private schools will have an opportunity to prepare their students for the production. The past Shakespeare performances have found Memorial Park filled with families, couples, singles and groups out for a special evening of theater, under the stars in Memorial Park.
The Old Pasadena Management District invites you to experience a classic American pastime by watching movies under the stars in the park every Saturday night in May. These movie nights are a great way to celebrate family, adventure and romance; be sure and bring someone to keep you warm.

This year's gala, A Night in Buenos Aires, was our most successful yet, raising over $120,000 for the Levitt Pavilion's 2008 free concert series.
