Pull up a chair, lay out a blanket, and join us under the stars to hear Barbara Morrison, a staple of the Los Angeles music scene. Making her recording debut at the age of 10, Morrison’s talents have become known throughout the United States and into Europe, Asia, and Australia. Her incredible two-and-a-half-octave range allows her to uniquely and soulfully sing a number of genres, from Jazz to Blues and Gospel to Pop. In her time, she has sung with such notable musicians as Dizzy Gillespie, Ray Charles, Etta James, Ron Carter and Tony Bennett, among others. Her passionate covers of jazz and blues standards, along with her interpretations of contemporary tunes, are sure to delight music lovers of all kinds.
