What could be better than experiencing the wonders of imagination with your children on a beautiful summer evening? The Hudson Vagabond Puppets perform larger-than-life puppetry and mask programs for children and their families. With the help of professional dancers and actors as puppeteers, the Japanese style of Bunraku is honored, with the performers becoming shadows of the enormous figures they bring to life. The company has toured throughout the country, making appearances with the Phoenix Arizona Symphony, the St. Louis Symphony, and the United States Military Concert Band at West Point. The puppeteers will perform the classic tale of Ferdinand and the Bull, which tells the story of a bull who prefers to smell flowers rather than fight in bullfights. This unique interpretation a timeless children’s story is perfect for children of all ages. Last season, Hudson Vagabond Puppets performed Mammoth Follies on our stage, drawing the largest crowd ever in our history! You must see to believe this amazing show!
