In 2003, the Mortimer Levitt Foundation gave the City of Pasadena $250,000 to transform the historic Memorial Park band shell into the venue it is today. They pledged to continue supporting the Pasadena Levitt Pavilion for a start-up period of five years. This allowed us to get our annual concert series up and running, and establish systems to become self-sustained by support from the businesses and residents in our community.
Now that our start-up period has come to an end, we look to the businesses and residents in our community for the resources we need to continue bringing the gift of music to Southern California families.
We believe that the work we do empowers our community by enabling those who may have no other exposure to the performing arts to experience the emotion and inspiration that comes from watching quality live performance. Join us as we promote the work of unique and talented artists from around the globe while making the performing arts more accessible.
The Levitt Pavilion is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, which means that your contribution will be tax deductible to the fullest extent of IRS law.

This year's gala, A Night in Buenos Aires, was our most successful yet, raising over $120,000 for the Levitt Pavilion's 2008 free concert series.
