Pack a picnic dinner and come out the park with the whole family to sing and dance to Sara Hickman’s smart lyrics and peppy beats. A Texas native, Sara’s singing and songwriting helps parents be spontaneous, creative and musical with their children. Having grown up in a home that fostered creativity, Hickman discovered her love for performing for children at a young age. After creating an album with esteemed producer Adrian Belew—guitarist with King Crimson, David Bowie, and Frank Zappa—Hickman released a series of children’s CDs for which the reaction has been astounding. Her 2004 album Big Kid heralded an 8-month #1 single, “Radiation Man”, on XM Kids radio, and she has won numerous other awards including Creative Child’s Top Creative Toy Award 2005 and Parents Choice Recommended 2004.
